KWBSC hosts the year end Rural Ottawa Softball tournament this weekend, June 24th-26th, at Riverside Park in Kemptville.
The Wildcats continue their tradition of supporting Girls Softball in the North Grenville area with the final tournament play-downs. This year the Wildcats host the Squirt age division with 13 teams coming to the area to compete for the glory of first place and the thrill of playing a game that the players love.
Teams are sorted into two separate pools according to the standings from the season. This produces a winner from each pool with Gold medals for the final winners. This ensures that each team has a great experience and promotes healthy competition for each teams talent level. This is the third of four tournaments that the Wildcats host in North Grenville. Riverside Park will be alive with hundreds of players and fans from Friday to Sunday. Everyone is welcome to come out and cheer on our local Kemptville team.
