This weekend you can come and get your car washed by a North Grenville firefighter, forĀ a very good cause. #WashforaWish happens on Saturday, June 18th across the region, in support of The Childrenās Wish Foundation. Deputy Fire Chief Randy Urslak says you can come to the new Krown Rust Kontrol centre across from Pioneer Nursery at 639 Van Buren Street this Saturday, to take part in this event.
The Childrenās Wish Foundation is the largest all-Canadian wish granting charity dedicated to granting wishes to Canadian children between three and seventeen years of age who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Urslak says supporting the charity was an easy choice for the members of the North Grenville Fire Service.
