Some municipalities have declared burn bans in the area.
Both North Grenville and South Dundas currently have a burn ban in effect due to current dry conditions.
North Grenville Deputy Fire Chief Randy Urslak says that the ban is due to the dry leftovers from last year.
Augusta Township and Edwardsburgh/Cardinal currently don’t have a burn ban in effect.
