The provincial Liberals have reversed their decision to discontinue the transmission of TVO outside of the Greater Toronto Area.
Eight TV-Ontario transmitters around Ontario were announced to be shut down, including ones in Ottawa, Belleville, and Cloyne.
Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark says he is happy the Wynne government reacted to the outcry from Ontarians.
He also said that because all provincial taxpayers contribute to the $40-million TVO receives from the government, all Ontarians should have TVO available to them.
