It’s expected to be easier to get fire permits and dog licenses in North Grenville next year. Members of council discussed a staff recommendation to offer online services next year. If passed by North Grenville Council next week, $3,000 would be approved to make it possible to buy fire permits and dog licenses online. Staff is hoping that fire permits are available as of January 1st and dog licensing as of March 1st.
Residents who wish to get their permits and licenses in person would still be able to do so.
