Kemptville Youth Centre launches book fair with wine and cheese party

The Kemptville Youth Centre launched their Annual Book Fair with a wine and cheese party last night. The event featured a first look at the book selection. Executive Director Robin Heald announced during the event that they already have over $7,200 towards their $20,000 goal. Kemptville Youth Centre Board President Graham Pincott says the money is earmarked for specific costs at the centre.

Pincott says it takes a lot of work to put the event together.

RBC was also on hand to donate $25,000 towards the youth centre’s after school program. In the past 10 years, RBC has donated $262,000 towards the youth centre. The book fair runs today and tomorrow from 10:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
