2nd Annual Yoga Harvest Fundraiser in Support of Community Food Share Food Banks Serving Dundas and Stormont Counties

Winchester, ON — HealthGirl is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Yoga Harvest Food Bank Fundraiser, set to take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM at the Joel Steele Community Centre. The event will be a 90-minute yoga practice led by Meghann Lynch, founder and lead instructor of HealthGirl, focused on gratitude, joy, and community, all in support of the local Community Food Share Food Banks, serving Dundas and Stormont Counties. Doors open at 1:00 PM.

Last year, the event raised $1,200, and this year’s goal is to raise $1,500, with all proceeds going directly to help families in need. Tickets are $30 and available for purchase online. Early bird ticket purchasers will be entered into a prize giveaway sponsored by local businesses.

“We’re excited to bring the community together once again to not only focus on self-care and wellness but also to make a meaningful impact by supporting the local food bank,” says Lynch. “This is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses and individuals to show their community spirit and make a difference.”

Sponsorship opportunities are still available for local businesses, with tiered donation matching and prize sponsorship options. All sponsors will be recognized in event marketing, on-site materials, and post-event media coverage.
