Becoming a Dementia Friendly Community and Church

Learn about the Blue Umbrella Program, creating a community that is dedicated to the safety and engagement of all its members. Poeple living with dementia and their caregivers can easily identify places in the community that have been trained to provide good and respectful care and consideration to people with dementia.
As well, a reading from local author, Kim Drake, from her book “In the Absence of Ants”, a story based on a life with dementia.
