Residents of Victoria Park subdivision will soon have some new signage going up. The Public Works Department did an assessment of the corner where Concession Road meets Empress Drive. Director Karen Dunlop says they will be making some changes to the varied speed limits along the roadway to make them more consistent.
The 40 kph zone will be extended around the bend and the 60 kph zone will be reduced to a 50.
The curve was designed for 25 kph so additional signage will be added there to remind motorists to take it slow.
