The St. Mike’s Junior Girls basketball team played host to BCI on Thursday. Unfortunately, after Amelia Van Vliet hit a clutch 3-pointer to tie the game in the final seconds of the game, the Mustangs couldn’t hold on – and they fell 41 to 38 to the Red Rams. Even though she played limited minutes due to foul trouble, speedy point guard Maddy Meisenheimer led the team with 10 points. Kaitlyn Dawson added 9 points. Halee Preston chipped in 6.
Both the Junior and Senior Girls travel to Brockville to play St. Mary on Tuesday.
