If you have always wanted to learn to skate, now you have no excuses. There is a new Skate & Helmet Lending program at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. It works like a library, with all equipment being signed out and back in at the arena. Users will need valid photo I.D. to borrow the equipment. Skating aids are also available to help out beginners.
The lending library was made possible through support from the Ontario Sport & Recreation Communities Fund, Shoeless Joes, Kemptville Canadian Tire and First Goal Pro Shop.
