Merrickville has been named one of the top ten most beautiful villages in Canada. The list was created at www.theculturetrip.com.
Merrickville has more designated heritage buildings than any other Ontario community of its size. Its thriving art community and placement along the Rideau Canal also contributed to the village winning top billing.
