NG Fire Service to benefit from donation for training by Enbridge

North Grenville Fire Service will be one of 20 Ontario fire departments benefiting from a part of a $100,000 dollar donation by Enbridge Gas Distribution. Enbridge partnered with the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council to help fire services like North Grenville’s purchase firefighting training materials. Fire Chief Paul Hutt says they are committed to keeping their firefighters safe with appropriate training, and with Enbridge’s help, they can maintain the level of training and continue to offer “Service Excellence” to the community. Since the “Project Assist” program began in 2012, 80 Ontario fire departments have received additional firefighter training.
