Police are reminding you to be extra cautious and pay attention while driving through construction zones.
Grenville County OPP say the summer season brings a lot of necessary construction projects with it and we need to pay attention to traffic control workers.
They add that the safety of workers, pedestrians and drivers is top priority.
You’re also being reminded that speeding through a construction zone when workers are present is double the regular fine amount while disobeying a traffic control person’s signage carries the same penalty as a disobeying a fixed sign.
Drivers are being asked to slow down, be patient, and let’s all get home safely.
