The 2025 summer season at the Upper Canada Playhouse in Morrisburg will begin a world premiere.
A Woman’s Love List, written by Norm Foster, one of Canada’s best known playwrights, will take to the stage on June 5 at the theatre in Morrisburg where it will run for three and a half weeks.
The show is a comedy and sequel to Foster’s The Love List which focused on two men coming up with a list of qualities they thought the perfect woman should have.
Upper Canada Playhouse Artistic Director Donnie Bowes tells Moose FM they had a discussion with Foster on writing a new show that turns the tables.
“We said Norm, The Love List has been around for a while, don’t you think it’s time to turn the page and flip it over with two women making a list of what they think makes the ideal mate.”
The production runs from June 5 to June 29 with other plays taking the stage this season including Maggie’s Getting Married and Hurry Hard, a comedy based around curling.
