An upcoming memorial service will give families an opportunity to honour their loved one while hearing a message of hope and encouragement.
For the 23rd year, the Kemptville District Hospital are hosting its memorial service for those who have passed away at the hospital over the past year.
It’s scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 15 at the North Grenville Community Church and is a collaboration between KDH, the KDHA Pastoral Care Committee, and Beth Donovan Hospice.
Chair of the KDHA Pastoral Care Committee Susan Brown tells Moose FM that it’s important to show families that they aren’t alone in their grief.
“It just allows them to know that people, not only from an administrative level but from the care level, still care and they want to support in any way they can.”
Guests are invited to bring a framed photo of their loved one, which will be returned to their owners after the service.
