A 51-year-old North Grenville man faces a raft of charges after police say the violent repeat offender was arrested at a residence in Lanark Highlands Township.
Lanark County OPP say an arrest warrant was issued for William (Willy) Scharf following an incident on April 11 in Drummond-North Elmsley Township where a firearm was discharged at a residence.
He faces charges including two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and two counts of uttering threats.
He was held in custody pending a court appearance.
