Pedestrian safety is getting a boost in Edwardsburgh Cardinal.
Municipal officials say three new pedestrian crossovers are being installed at key locations in Spencerville and Cardinal. These modern crossovers are designed to provide increased visibility and improved safety for pedestrians at high-traffic areas.
They will be located at County Road 44 at Henderson Street in Spencerville, County Road 2 at Dishaw Street in Cardinal and County Road 2 at Walker Street in Cardinal.
The new pedestrian crossovers are set to be activated next week, with a target date of March17, aligning with the return of school after spring break.
