The Leeds Grenville Paramedic Service says they saw more calls last year in 2024 compared to the year prior.
In their year-end statistical report, the service says they received just over 33,000 calls last year, up four per cent from 2023.
Brockville was their busiest area followed by Edwardsburgh Cardinal.
The report also notes that the service is currently seeing unprecedented offload times at hospitals and that, along with more calls has led to response times increasing.
