Be prepared before heading away on vacation

If you’re traveling with children this spring break research your destination, stay connected and check your travel documents.

That advice comes from Global Affairs Canada who say that travelling with your children outside the country can bring added complexity.

They add, however, that with a little planning, you’ll be able to enjoy a safe and hassle-free vacation.

Officials say you should also determine whether you need a consent letter and get travel interruption and health insurance.

East Region OPP say, if you’re planning on going away from home, don’t announce your vacation plans on social media and don’t post pics while you are away.
