The Kemptville 73’s are off to a good start with February now here.
Kemptville won their first game of the month 2-nothing over the Ottawa Junior Senators at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.
Mathieu Fehr and Emile Trottier had the goals with Rylan Donovan stopping all 25 shots directed his way for his second shutout in the Central Canada Hockey League.
The win moves Kemptville into second place in the CCHL’s Robinson Division.

It followed a 6-1 loss for Kemptville against the Navan Grads at home on Friday night, Trottier had the lone 73’s goal in the defeat.
The 73’s next game is Friday night when they travel to Brockville for a 7:30 p.m. opening faceoff.
