Newcomers to the region are being asked for their thoughts on programs and services that are available.
The St.Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership is conducting a research project to learn how they can improve the programs and services to ensure immigrants feel included and have a sense of belonging in the community.
The partnership is a collaboration of twenty-five plus organizations dedicated to enhancing the local community’s ability to welcome, support, and integrate immigrants.
They are holding a survey and focus groups in communities across Leeds and Grenville including two sessions at the North Grenville Municipal Centre in Kemptville on Jan. 13.
The first meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. to 3:30 pm and another is planned for 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
