A teenager from Nova Scotia, charged in an investigation into anonymous violent threats made against a Kemptville school, will soon appear in court.
Grenville County OPP say the 14-year-old from Bridgewater, who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, will make a video appearance in a Brockville courtroom on Tuesday.
It comes after threats made against St. Michael Catholic High School, beginning Sept. 12 and continuing until Oct. 17., led to the school being closed several times.
Police announced Friday night that an extensive investigation involving a number of different police departments resulted in a search warrant being executed at a home and school.
The suspect faces numerous charges including uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, indecent communications and public mischief.
