St.Michael Catholic School in Kemptville is closed following a second threat in three days.
Officials with the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario say in a letter to parents that the the school board received a call from police at midnight.
The anonymous caller said there would be an act of violence at the school, involving weapons, at the beginning of the day on Friday.
School officials say, in light of the closure on Thursday and the current threat, they made the decision to close the school Friday and cancel buses and all school activities.
An update will come as more information becomes available from police.
Schools under the Upper Canada District School Board are back open Friday.
