Prescott is commemorating a historic Royal visit.
A new exhibit marking the 40th anniversary of the Royal visit to the town is scheduled to be officially unveiled on Friday.
The visit took place on Sept. 27, 1984 and the new exhibit at the Prescott Museum features photographs donated by private residents.
The unveiling is taking place at 2 p.m. on the second floor of Prescott Town Hall with the public and dignitaries expected to be in attendance.
The exhibit will be featured from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and will be on display from October 1 to 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
