Grenville County OPP say a fire that destroyed a house in Kemptville has been deemed suspicious.
North Grenville fire fighters were called to the blaze at the two-story house at the corner of Barnes Street and Oxford Street just before 5 a.m. on Aug. 13.
North Grenville Fire Department Deputy Fire Chief Randy Urslak told the Moose FM Newsroom at the time that when crews arrived they discovered the front of the house fully involved in flames.
Urslak said it appeared that the blaze had started on the front porch.
Several pets from the house that was separated into apartments died in the blaze.
Police are now asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
