It will soon be easier to make the trip to Las Vegas for a vacation.
Starting November 1, Porter Airlines will begin offering nonstop service between Ottawa International Airport and Las Vegas.
The flights will operate four times weekly.
Krista Kealey, Vice-President of Communications and Public Consultation for the Ottawa Airport Authority, says thinks trips like Las Vegas are the beginning of a new way to travel.
“I think in the future we’re going to see a lot of “bleisure” as well, that’s a new term that we’re using where people are going on business trips but they are extending them for the leisure portion as well.”
Porter will be the only carrier operating the Ottawa to Las Vegas route.
