The Kemptville Live Music Festival is boosted by a team of 245 volunteers.
The team at the event, which takes place until Sunday on the grounds of Kemptville Campus, is separated into 10 different areas including front of house and merchandise.
They are led by volunteer co-leads Linda and Darwin who say 205 volunteers are returnees who helped out with last year’s festival.
Linda says they come back because they enjoy the experience.
“They love what they do, they love coming and re-volunteering every year because we treat our volunteers really well and it’s just a great gig.”
Darwin says his favorite part of working with the volunteers is watching them help bring the festival together.
“Listening to the volunteers really buy into this, this is a part of their life.”
Thursday night’s lineup is headlined by the Sam Roberts Band, winners of six Juno Awards.
The Moose FM Newsroom will have updates on what’s going on throughout the festival.
