No breathalyzers to be used at school events: Ontario Supreme Court

There won’t be any breathalyzers used at prom this year. On Monday, an Ontario judge ruled that forcing students to take a breathalyzer test in order to gain entrance to their prom is against their constitutional rights. The case was launched after two Toronto area students sued their highschool principal over mandatory breathalyzer tests. Last year, North Dundas District High School opted to use the tests, after a decision by parent council.
