Workers will be breaking ground at the construction site for the new Dundas Manor ahead of the weekend.
Frecon Construction Limited, a company based out of Russell, has been announced as the contractor building the new facility.
Vice President Douglas Drevniok says he’s excited to work on the project because it’s important to his employees, since many of them live in Winchester and the surrounding area.
“It feels good to have a part in building something that touches close to home,” Drevniok says.

The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Friday, December 15th, at 9:30 AM.
Construction will formally begin early in the New Year and is expected to last until 2026.
