You’ll need to account for a detour if you plan to drive through Winchester this weekend.
Several stretches of roads in the community are closing to accommodate the “Garden Party Christmas Market,” an event being organized by a local business.
From 6:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, November 18th, St. Lawrence Street will be closed to all traffic from Church Street to Clarence Street.
Victoria Street is also partially closing between Louise Street and Albert Street. The parts closest to the Victoria-St. Lawrence intersection are closed to all traffic, but the rest is open to local traffic.
While those stretches of road are closed, a detour will be set up that’ll take motorists along Clarence Street, Christie Lane and Church Street.
