With Remembrance Day around the corner, North Grenville staff members are inviting residents to commemorate the sacrifices of Indigenous Veterans.
The municipality is hosting a ceremony that’ll see flags lowered to half-mast and a wreath laid outside the Municipal Centre.
It commemorates Indigenous Veterans Day, recognizing the sacrifices of Indigenous Soldiers during the World Wars and the Korean War, and the many Indigenous People that are enlisted in our military today.
The ceremony is happening November 8th at 1:00 PM outside the Municipal Centre.
