Free public skating returns in Edwardsburgh-Cardinal starting in October

If you’re eager to get back on the ice as temperatures begin to dip, you’ll have some opportunities in our area starting next week.

The Township of Edwardsburgh-Cardinal is preparing to launch its free skating programs for the 2023-24 season.

This year, public skating for all ages runs on Sundays from 2:00 to 3:30 PM in Spencerville, and Fridays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in Cardinal.

Meanwhile, adult-only skating is available Wednesday through Friday at the Spencerville arena and Monday through Friday at the Ingredion Centre.

“Parent and tot” ice sessions for people with young kids are available on Thursday mornings in both communities.

The first public skating session of the fall is happening Sunday at the Spencerville Arena.
