Staff members at the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit say they’ve made it easier to book or cancel appointments for things like vaccinations.
The organization has launched a new online booking platform called “Front Desk,” available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“Until now, clients needed to call our offices, during our hours of business, and speak with a staff member to schedule or cancel an appointment,” explains Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li. “Now, clients can book into our clinics and classes on their own time, cancel if needed and make appointments for groups of people easily.”
Once you’ve booked an appointment with the platform, staff members say you’ll get an email confirming it, and can sign up for reminder emails or text messages.
