Smith Falls Bears player Doef regaining some sensation and movement in one leg after hockey incident in December

Neil Doef has regained some sensation and movement in one leg after a hockey incident that resulted in the loss of movement to his lower body late last year when he was at the World Junior A Challenge in Saskatoon. The family of the Smith Falls Bears player released news that he’s making progress but his rehab is still ongoing and he will have many challenges in the future. Many community organizations and businesses have come together to fundraise for Doef and his family.
