Fire officials have figured out the cause of a recent fatal fire that claimed the lives of four people.
The Grenville County OPP were called to assist North Grenville firefighters with a fire on Stone Road in Oxford Mills on January 10th .Â
Police say the fire completely engulfed the building.
The Ontario Fire Marshal and Office of the Chief Coroner said Wednesday that the blaze was caused by a dry Christmas tree.Â
They say following the holidays, dry trees should be removed as soon as possible as a dry tree can catch fire and spread in seconds.Â
