A woman is dead after a collision this morning on the 401. At about 5 o’clock this morning Leeds OPP officers were called to a collision on the 401 eastbound near Sharpe’s Lane in Elizabethtown-Kitley. A car had lost control, spun out and hit an eastbound transport truck. 38 year old Ludmila SRAM of Richmond Hill Ont, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The female driver, 18 year old Arina SAVELEVA of Woodbridge Ont, was taken to hospital in Brockville to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. This collision happened just west of a series of collisions in Grenville County. The 401 eastbound between North Augusta Road and Maitland Road remains closed at this time for an investigation.
