At the Committee of the Whole meeting last night, a resolution was made to appoint an Integrity Commissioner. This person or team would be used on an on-call basis to investigate complaints related to the Municipal Council Code of Conduct, should any arise. Councillor Terry Butler said, in his eleven years on council, he has never seen a need for an Integrity Commissioner. Clerk Cahl Pominville confirmed the service would be added at no additional cost to the municipality.
