Mayor Gordon pays tribute to retiring Councillors Butler and Finnerty

There are big changes coming to North Grenville Municipal Council on December 1st and as Mayor David Gordon explains, it is time to say goodbye to two very important members of the team:

At the last meeting of regular municipal council, Terry Butler gave his goodbye speech, as he is retiring after eleven years in the seat. Mayor David Gordon had high praise for the outgoing councillor:

Deputy Mayor Ken Finnerty is also retiring, after more than twenty-five years in council.

Mayor David Gordon said it will be sad to see them go, after their many years of contribution to the community:

Newly elected Councillors Frank Onasanya and Jim Bertram are to be sworn in the first of the month.
