Big Sky Ranch Animal Sanctuary got a boost from 100 Kids Who Care North Grenville. The group held its second meeting last night at the municipal centre. Around 20 kids, between the ages of 6 and 16, attended the event. A total of $200 was raised.
Presentations were made about Big Sky Ranch, Jumpstart and the Kemptville District Hospital. Members voted in support of the local rescue. Big Sky Ranch currently has around 120 animals, ranging from cats and dogs, to pigs and sheep.
Members Oscar Roberts, Kira Schiissler and Mabel Roberts say it’s a good cause. They say the money will help keep the animals warm. Â
