Community Living North Grenville (CLNG) is getting ready to bring down the house with laughter. The local organization’s annual Comedy Night and Auction is set for April 20 at the municipal centre. Tickets are $50 each, with all proceeds going to CLNG.
Executive Director Sandra McNamara says the organization is actively seeking sponsors and donations for the live and silent auctions. She says CLNG is fortunate to have Lockwood Brothers Construction as the title sponsor this year.
The event brought in around $25,000 last year. It will feature comedians from Yuk Yuk’s and refreshments.
McNamara says the money is used to help connect people to the community. She says it helps cover things like transportation costs and medical equipment.
