People are being asked to avoid Prescott Street, between Concession and Hilltop, while crews deal with a water main break. Reports of the break came in this morning.
Superintendent of Environmental Services Mike Finley says the break was likely caused by the extreme temperature fluctuations.
Fixing the break is expected to take a few hours and be complete by this afternoon. Water will be shut off to the residences along that stretch of Prescott during repairs.
