Grenville County OPP are investigating a crash that sent one man to hospital on August 30th. At about 4:40 in the afternoon on Saturday, police responded to a report of a Toyota Sienna travelling east on the 401 towards Prescott. The car left the highway and immediately re-entered, continuing east. Police attempted to stop the vehicle, to no avail. On two occasions the vehicle used the left shoulder of the road to pass vehicles. Finally it struck the County Rd. 22 overpass structure, flipping in the air before coming to rest. The lone occupant in the vehicle, a 29 year old Ottawa man was taken to hospital with minor injuries and remained in hospital under the Mental Health Act.
