The Province of Ontario is adding beer to 95 more grocery stores.
The province made the announcement Friday that grocers can bid online for authorization to sell beer, with sales expected to start in April 2018.
While Jonsson’s Independent Grocers in Kemptville already sells beer in their store, Food Basics as well and B and H Grocers do not.
The deadline for grocers to bid to be authorized for beer sales is November 6th.
