Organizers of the book fair for the Kemptville Youth Centre have met their target.
This past weekend’s event managed to raise about $20,000.
Operations Manager Pat Henderson says the goal wouldn’t be achievable without the hours put in by volunteers.
Henderson says it’s also thanks to their sponsors and locations that everything runs smoothly.
Henderson says the money is used towards a few different costs at the youth centre.
The event ran from Thursday to Sunday.
