The biggest annual book sale in North Grenville has begun.
The Kemptville Youth Centre has launched its book fair with a special wine and cheese event last night. Operations Manager Pat Henderson says it’s thanks to the sponsors and the host, the Ferguson Forest Centre, that this event is a success ever year.
The event allowed organizers a chance to thank sponsors and allowed people to preview the books available at the sale. The book fair runs today from 10:00am to 6:00pm at the Ferguson Forest Centre. It also runs tomorrow from 8:00am to 3:00pm and Sunday 9:00am to 2:00pm.
The event is one of the youth centre’s largest fundraisers. So far, they have $7,000 raised but are hoping to get to their $20,000 goal this weekend. Funds go to help defray the cost of programming at the centre.
