Residents and visitors are going to get a taste of what North Grenville has to offer.
The 8th Annual Market Plates is coming to the Kemptville Farmers’ Market this Sunday. Market Plates pairs local producers and chefs together to create small plates of food that visitors can enjoy.
Director of Advertising and Marketing Nancy Olive says the event helps teach residents about local food.
Organizers from last year’s event say crowds were lined up to try the offerings. Olive says there’s two main reasons she believes the event is so popular.
In the past, the event featured chefs from restaurants paired with the local producers. This year the vendors will become the chefs behind the creations.
