A Kemptville man is facing child pornography charges.
The Ottawa Police says Ottawa Homeland Security Investigations and Custom Border Protection at the Ottawa International Airport notified the Ottawa Police of a suspected child pornography investigation.
During a search, Police say the Kemptville man was attempting to travel to California and was denied entry to the United States based on suspected images and videos of child pornography on his cell phone.
After investigating, the Ottawa Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit confirmed the images and videos meet the Criminal Code definition of child pornography.
The 24-year-old man has been charged with possession of child pornography and attempt to export child pornography.
The man is set to appear in court today.
