The new accessible play structure at South Gower Park has officially opened.
While the park has been in use since July, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held earlier today to mark the grand opening of the structure.
Councillor Frank Onasanya says it’s a busy park.
Onasanya says that the accessible model is one they would like to use for future park renovations as well.
Deputy-Mayor Barb Tobin, Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture Mark Guy and a number of other staff were on hand at the ribbon cutting. Several children and parents also attended the event.
