Al Brown has been honoured with the Mayor’s Commendation Award at this year’s 2017 Civic Awards and Canada 150 Student Awards ceremony.
Brown was nominated for the community dedication he offers to those in need in North Grenville.

Paul Rochon – Exemplary Work in the Community
Mary-Anne Leang – Exemplary Work in the Community
Darryl Lapenskie – Outstanding Volunteer Commitments to Recreation, Sport and Leisure in the Community
Don Munz Outstanding Volunteer Commitments to Seniors in the Community.
A total of 29 students were also honoured for their volunteerism with special 150 Student Awards.
